SW18 was founded on a simple belief: anti-ageing skincare should be built with the same rigour as scientific research, not marketing trends.

The brand was created by a UK-trained PhD chemist with more than a decade of experience in ingredient research and formulation development. During this time, one question kept returning: why do so many anti-ageing products promise dramatic results, yet rely on vague claims, overused ingredients, or excessive complexity?

SW18 is our answer.

A focused approach to anti-ageing

Ageing skin does not need constant stimulation or aggressive intervention. It needs consistency, barrier support, and carefully selected actives that work together as a system.

Every SW18 formula is developed with three priorities:

SW18 products are developed through an iterative formulation process that prioritises function over spectacle. Ingredients are selected based on their role in supporting the skin barrier, improving the appearance of texture, and enhancing luminosity over time.

We do not rely on exaggerated claims or unnecessary complexity. Each formula is refined until it performs as a complete system: effective, comfortable, and reliable with continued use.

Full ingredient lists are disclosed, and our language reflects what cosmetics are designed to do: improve how skin looks and feels.

A considered use of rare bio-active ingredients

Our research explores the cosmetic potential of carefully selected bio-active ingredients alongside established actives such as peptides, antioxidants, and skin-identical lipids.

Where less common ingredients are used, they are incorporated only following safety assessment and in compliance with cosmetic regulations. SW18 products are cosmetic formulations and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
